Rockland Celebrating Hanukkah With Menorah Parade

Rockland is getting into the Hanukkah spirit with about 80 menorah mobiles.

Yeshiva Mesivta Lubavitch of Monsey is hosting a menorah parade starting in Monsey and ending with a menorah lighting at the Palisades Center on Wednesday, Dec. 13, the second night of Hanukkah, the eight-day festival of lights, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mesitva Lubavitch has hosted the parade for more than 10 years, but this is the first time it is ending at the mall. The parade will last about 45 minutes.

Sufganiyot (a jelly donut) will be served while the Gizmo Guys, a juggling duo, will perform.

The grand menorah lighting will include sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) and a performance by The Gizmo Guys, a comedic juggling duo.
